This one-day course is specifically designed for water and wastewater utility personnel providing customer service. The emphasis of this course is to prepare utility personnel to deliver better customer service. This course provides an overview of strategies for delivery of better customer service and dealing with difficult customer. It includes specialized tips for field personnel.
It is also designed to help water and wastewater professionals deal with all types of customers to ensure a positive resolution and to be aware that cross connections are a leading threat to water quality in the distribution system. Students will learn how inflow and infiltration can be directly attributed to the activities of their customers. An emphasis on understanding and finding quick and efficient solutions to the most common water and wastewater customer complaints will be addressed.
