This one-day course provides Water and Wastewater Operators with a functional understanding of the valves commonly found in treatment plants and distribution systems. Where practical, the course will include a demonstration of valves and ancillary equipment. Topics covered include: Classification of valves, on/off and flow control valves, special purpose valves, valve actuators, valve operation and maintenance, common problems and troubleshooting.
