This course focuses on improving workers' behaviour towards workplace safety. Promoters of behaviour-based safety programs maintain that 80 - 96% of workplace injuries are caused by workers' unsafe behaviours. Once the workers who are behaving "unsafely" are identified, they are counseled and may be disciplined until their behaviour meets an acceptable safety standard.
