This half-day course introduces Water and Wastewater Operators to SCADA systems in the workplace. Topics include: the evolution and development of control systems, SCADA functions and system requirements, SCADA applications and SCADA security.

Upon Successful completion of this course the participant will:

• Attain a basic understanding of the components and technologies of a SCADA system.
• Understand the functions of SCADA in the workplace.
• Recognize the advantages of SCADA in the water and wastewater field.
