Laboratory Skills for Wastewater Operators

(Course Code: TSD209)

This two-day course will cover process control testing done in the wastewater treatment plant lab. Procedures to be covered include organism identification, protozoa/filamentous organisms, MLSS, MLVSS, TS, TVS, SVI, oxygen uptake rate (OUR), secchi disks and sludge judges, and settling rates. Sampling and data handling will also be covered.
