This one-day course is designed to assist wastewater operators with the operation and maintenance of ponds and lagoons. The participants will gain knowledge in the basic chemistry and microbiology of ponds and lagoons. Areas that will be covered include: pond Classifications, how treatment occurs, microbiology of lagoons, nitrification and algae control and removal.
