Cross Connection Control and Backflow Prevention

This one-day course is designed to a target audience of Water Operators, Supervisors, Foremen & Water Meter personnel. Participants of this course will gain an understanding of the importance of a good water supply; they will review the Provinical Codes, legal aspects and CSA standards. Students will also learn and understand why backflow preventors are necessary, how they are applied and why it is important not to allow pollutants into potable water supply system.
