This 4-day course has been designed to satisfy the training requirements component of the Water Meter Installer - 800A apprenticeship program as developed and governed by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (M.T.C.U.). While this training addresses the critical skill sets required, it does not result in the issuance of a "ticket", which is beyond our jurisdiction. Participants will be required to register with the M.T.C.U. and secure the sign-off experience endorsement by a recognized source (licensed plumber or municipal designated authority, etc.). A Water Meter Installer may install, service, maintain and repair residential water meters. Meters must not exceed 25mm (one inch) in diameter.

Safe Work Practices - 4 hours
Water Quality and Safety - 2 hours
Customer Service Skills - 4 hours
Math Skills - 1 hour
Confined Space - 6 hours
Soldering, Threading and Compression Fittings - 6 hours
Testing at Completion - 2 hours
