Watermain Breaks and Repairs

This one-day course is designed to teach operators the various types of watermain breaks and the methods of leak detection. The participants will develop a plan: for the detection, public notification, isolation, safe excavation, watermain repair, disinfection, flushing, pressure testing, bacteriological sampling, documenting and returning the watermain to service.
