Coagulation, Flocculation and Sedimentation

This course will describe the need for coagulation and flocculation, how to perform a jar test, how to select the proper coagulant and determine the dosage and how to adjust chemical feed rates. It also trains students to select optimum speeds for flash mixers and flocculators, how to collect samples from the coagulation and flocculation basins, start-up and shut down a coagulation-flocculation process and operate and maintain coagulation-flocculation processes.
